NOTA: A saberse, esta lista es de mis gustos personales. La he creado como glosario de todo lo que me ha dejado una huella en estos últimos diez años, películas, mùsica, libros, ètcetera. Son cosas que sino las establezco en escrito ahora que lo recuerdo después no podré si quiera dar una breve plática sobre ellos.

Tengan en cuenta que estos gustos se remiten a mi paìs, mi economía y mis aficiones particulares así que de ningún modo planea que los demás compartan todos mis gustos. Lo que sería más interesante es saber sus favoritos, escríbanme en los comentarios y nos pondremos a discutir de lo lindo.

1.Otra noche de mierda en esta puta ciudad por Nick Flynn / Another bullshit night in suck city by Nick Flynn (2004)

Es muy difícil convencer a la gente a que lea este libro. Alguien me dijo "Ese título no hace que me den ganas de leer toda la novela". Bueno, aquí está la cosa: Las personas son estúpidas. Y este es el mejor título que yo he visto en un libro. Otra noche de mierda esta construido hermosamente, utilizando el estilo shakesperiano del drama. Es por definición El Rey Lear de nuestra época, y yo amo este libro creo que hasta un poco más que los que yo escribo.

It's really though to convince people to read this book. Someone said to me "that title does not put me in the mood to read a whole novel". Well, here's the thing: People are assholes. And this is the best title i've ever seen in a book. Another bullshit night is beautifully constructed, using the shakespearean method of drama. It's by definition the King Lear of this decade, and i love this book i think even more than the ones i wrote.

3.Una cerveza de nombre derrota por Eusebio Ruvalcaba / A beer by the name Failure (2007) (no ed.)

Este es un libro para hombres. No, de verdad. ¿A qué hombres conoces? ¿Qué dudas tienen? ¿Les asusta sus mujeres, los vicios? ¿Les asusta trabajar o dejar de hacerlo? Entrégale este libro y espera a que le crezca el bigote. La barba, es más, otro par de testículos. ¿Exageré mucho? Es que ya he hablado de este libro en anteriores ocasiones y fue la razón e inspiración para publicar Malviajes. Eso es todo.

This book is for men. No, really, What men do you know? What are they doubts? Are they afraid to their women, to their addictions? Are they afraid to work, to stop working? Give 'em this book and wait for their mustache to grow. I'm sorry, did i overreacted? It's just that i've talk and wrote about this book in so many ocassions, and it's the true reason i published Malviajes. That's all.

He sido inspirado por el trabajo de Etgar Keret desde el primer párrafo que le leí. Su ingenio es tal que ni siquiera tiene la necesidad de escribir novelas. Sólo con cuentos este hombre te puede trasladar a un mundo que combina la imaginación más infantil junto con el humor màs cruel. Escogí este libro para esta lista, pero en realidad pude haber escogido cualquier de èl. Es asì de bueno.

I've been inspired by the work of Etgar Keret since the first paragraph i read. He's wittines it's such that he doesn't even need to write novels. Only with short stories this man can take you to a world that combines the most childish imagination with the most cruel comedy. I chose this book for this list, but i could just have put any of his books. He is that good.
